Pit stop in Edinburgh

We happily had a final pit stop in Edinburgh before heading to Ireland. We stayed with our previous hosts and it felt like a mini reunion. We made a quiche for dinner and stayed up until 2 A.M chatting, which is a pretty big deal for me.

Since we only had a day to spend, there wasn't much time to do a lot. Our sweet tour guide from the Highlands suggested the Scottish National Portrait Gallery. I highly recommend visiting! It is free to the public and super interesting. It basically shares the history of Scotland via portraits.

Major accomplishment on this trip: getting Rich's hair cut! Sweet, hopefully it was last until we get home!  I would say our quick round two of Edinburgh was very successful.
