L'As du Fallafel

L'As du Fallafel, Paris: The best fallafel in Europe!

Today we went to L'as du Fallafel for lunch. It is supposedly the best falafel in Paris if not in Europe. Someone on Yelp said that it's better than thought of the falafel they've had in Israel. We thought it was absolutely delicious, I can't say that we've had anything better. We also tried their shawarma; it was to die for. Note to self: try roasting eggplant like they do when we get home, it was delicious. We've read about this place in the past and meant to visit it before, but this is the first time we got to it. I think if we're back and Paris we'll definitely be eating here again. It's located in Le Marais district of Paris, which has a lot of unique Jewish heritage and many beautiful boutiques and restaurants. We got a fig tart at a patisserie outside of our apartment when we came back this afternoon and it was delicious.

This evening we went for a walk on the Canal St. Martin in northeast Paris. It was lovely, full of parks and restaurants, and lively people. A good way to end the night.
